The region is home to many castles and palaces, the Scottish Mining Museum, Iron Age forts, and a number of lovely parks from which you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Next, depart for your short drive to Edinburgh for a 3-night stay that includes lots of leisure time to explore the city. During your time in the capital city, head to the magnificent Edinburgh Castle for a group tour or visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Scottish National Gallery, the Royal Botanic Garden, and the National Museum of Scotland.
